Lee H Kummer

Attorney Lee H. Kummer has been practicing law in the City of Manitowoc since 1977.

Lee was born in Manitowoc and is married to Eileen, originally from Two Rivers, Wisconsin. Eileen and Lee have raised five children. For approximately the last fifteen years, Lee's practice has concentrated in representing individuals before the Social Security Administration (SSA) on disability claim and representing parties in family law matters and now focuses on his SSA practice.

He has successfully represented disabled individuals in securing Social Security Disability benefits at hundreds of hearings before Administrative Law Judges. He regularly appears at Social Security Disability hearings in Green Bay, Oshkosh and Milwaukee. He has clients coming from as far as Sturgeon Bay, Shawano County, Milwaukee County and beyond. In fact, he has successfully assisted employees of the Social Security Administration and family members of employees of the Social Security Administration in pursuing disability claims.

Lee and his wife, Eileen, are firm believers in giving back to their community. They have both been involved in the parochial school system, including Roncalli Catholic High School and Silver Lake College of the Holy Family. Lee recently was elected to the city of Manitowoc Common Council. He is president of the Catholic Foundation for the Green Bay Diocese and on the St. Francis of Assisi parish Council.

Lee is a serious marathon runner with over 60 marathons under his belt including qualifying and running in two Boston Marathons. He was and organizer of the Maritime Marathon in Manitowoc and is the Treasurer of the Friends of Mariners Trail.
